To make a new appointment, please call our office at 817-275-1900. Our friendly staff will work with you to accommodate your schedule. If you have an ocular emergency, please let the staff know and they will try to find a same-day appointment.
We participate in most medical insurance plans. IF YOUR INSURANCE REQUIRES A REFERRAL, THEN PLEASE CONTACT YOUR PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIAN TO OBTAIN THE REFERRAL.
New patient visit is a comprehensive evaluation of your ocular health. This will include a detailed review of your medical history, as well as your ocular history and a detailed ocular exam. Your eyes will be dilated and other tests may be performed. New patient visits will last from 1.5 to 2 hours. Dilation can affect your driving and everyone is affected differently. As such, we recommend that you bring someone to drive you after the visit. Disposable sunglasses are available.
PLEASE NOTE THAT EXAMINATION FOR GLASSES AND CONTACTS CAN BE PERFORMED AT THE SAME VISIT. IF YOU WANT AN EXAMINATION FOR GLASSES OR CONTACTS, PLEASE LET THE FRONT STAFF KNOW WHEN YOU CHECK-IN.
What to bring to your visit
- A complete list of all your medicines including any eye drops.
- List of medical problems and surgeries.
- Any glasses or contacts and if available the previous prescriptions for the glasses and contacts.
- Relevant MRI, CT and lab reports.
- Sunglasses for after the visit.
